為鼓勵前線童軍旅領袖運用資訊科技於日常行政管理中，本會推出童軍旅團網站管理系統(Scout Group Portal)及童軍旅團管理系統(Scout Group Management System)，並將於2012年5月19日(星期六)舉行童軍資訊科技日(Scout Tech Day)，簡介上述兩個系統。
To encourage leaders from scout groups applying information technology in scout group management, Scout Group Portal and Scout Group Management System are developed by Scout Association of Hong Kong, and to be announced on 19 May 2012 (Saturday) during the Scout Tech Day.

童軍旅團網站管理系統是由香港應用科技研究院有限公司(ASTRI)提供雲端平台及贊助。此系統簡單易用，讓前線領袖為童軍旅建立網站時能減低成本及提高維護網站的能力。
The Scout Group Portal utilizing cloud computing is sponsored by the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute Company Limited (ASTRI). The system is easy to use, which enables leaders to lower the cost and enhance web maintenance ability on building webpages for their scout groups.

童軍旅團管理系統由本會資訊科技部研發，目的是協助前線領袖有效地管理青少年成員資料及處理日常行政工作。
The Scout Group Management System is developed by the IT Office. The aim of the system is to assist scout leaders to effectively manage youth member data and perform scout group management functions.

當日除了舉行啟動儀式外，並進行《童軍創意手機程式設計比賽》頒獎儀式，而出席的童軍旅亦可即時登記使用童軍旅團管理系統，有關活動詳情如下：
Apart from the activation ceremony, there will also be a prize giving ceremony for the "Scout Creative Apps Design Competition". Besides, attending scout groups can immediately register for the Scout Group Management System. Details of Scout Tech Day is listed as below:

• 日期：2012年5月19日（星期六）
  Date: 19 May 2012 (Saturday)

• 時間：下午2時半至6時
  Time: 2:30p.m. - 6:00p.m.

• 地點：九龍柯士甸道童軍徑香港童軍中心11樓集會堂
  Congregation Hall, 11/F, Hong Kong Scout Centre, Scout Path, Austin Road, Kowloon.

• 費用：全免
  Fee: Free of charge

• 參加資格：各級童軍領袖或會務委員 (領袖優先)
  Eligibility: Scout leaders or committee members

• 服裝：童軍制服
  Dresscode: Scout uniform

• 報名辦法：請於2012年5月10日前填寫夾附表格報名，傳真至3011 5662或電郵至。或於網上報名。名額有限，報名從速。獲接納報名之人士，將於2012年5月14日前收到電郵確認。
